Doodles and sketches and inklines!

Here’s a progress scan of what is to become a painting very soon!

And below are a few first sketches and doodles of various things connected to Breakaway, the sequel to The Arrival which is currently being drawn by yours truly behind the scenes!

Bristol Comic Expo!!!

Yayy! Another action packed weekend. We finally had our industry launch – at the Bristol Comic Expo. Corey, Jennie and Yomi had a table at the show, as well as a panel discussion. We sat alongside the Barry and David of Geek Syndicate, the Markosia family, and Kill Shakespeare.

The interest in The Arrival and the whole project was very encouraging. We’re fired-up and looking forward to many of the challenges associated with producing a new project such as Clockwork Watch.

We’d like to thank Harry Markos, Matt Gibbs, Doctor Geof, Conor McCreery, Anthony Del Col, Jimmy Aquino, and James Pearson (Bayou Arcana).

Here are some pictures and a short video…

We were interviewed for Jimmy Aquino’s Podcast!

Yesterday’s World…Today

That was the week that was. We had a blast at Tomorrow’s World… Today. We launched Clockwork Watch with an immersive prologue, and participants had a chance to interact with characters from the story. We also made sure that the first batch of “The Arrival” were in the post, and were being delivered prior to the event.

So what happened? Well, you need to read the latest news in the London Gazette

Here are some snippets of the day’s activities:

Authentic Victorian Street Food at Tomorrow’s World… Today!

Just when you thought Tomorrow’s World… Today! was going to be:

  • A LARP
  • A Street Market
  • An Exposition
  • An Art Exhibition

This immersive and participatory story offers more!

Caterers “What The Dickens?” are planning to produce authentic Victorian Street Food! Yes, we’re going the distance on this, you had better believe it!

How does Kedgeree sound?
A buttery rice dish with smoked haddock, mild Indian spices topped with a poached egg. This is a traditional Victorian Anglo-Indian breakfast and a What The Dickens? speciality.

Tomorrow’s World… Today! is the immersive and participatory launch event for our Victorian love story called “Clockwork Watch“.
