More Patrons Feature As Characters In Our Story…

During our crowdfunding campaign, we offered patrons a chance to become part of this 5-year story, by sketching them into the narrative. We hoped many would use their appearance to kick off their own stories, worlds, and much more… And some have!

This week, we’ll give you a couple of snippets from Breakaway, our next graphic novel. This time we’re placing our patrons in roles, as particular characters, and pivotal parts of the story. Clockwork Watch is all about storytelling, what better way to start?

Clockwork Watch Resumes…

resumes18120131

It has been years since the onset of the Dark Winter, and Victorian society is finally getting to grips with living in smoke.

A lifetime of burning fuels to power the big mechanical machines, coupled with diverse weather conditions created a deadly pea-souper that plunged the world into darkness.

Time has moved on…

One Year In Now Media – by Simon Staffans

Clockwork Watch is featured in Simon Staffans‘ article “One Year In Now Media” – an in depth look at the transmedia industry. It is a great summary of where this emerging genre is, and where many of us hope to drive it. Clockwork Watch creator Yomi Ayeni contributed a section on the development of this very project.

Clockwork Watch changes gear in 2013, we are going for a more engaging story, told through live events. While the start of this narrative has been online, the next stage is more engaging, immersive, and physically participatory. The tone of the storyworld changes, people will be encouraged to claim real estate in the world, and bring it to life at our events.”

Kindly check it out, it is a cracking read and Happy New Year!

Geeks Unleashed Delve Into Clockwork Watch

“this project is definitely one to watch and, more importantly, get involved in.” – Geeks Unleashed!

It’s always great to have a good review, but sometimes it goes much further than a few column inches. While Clockwork Watch is a Steampunk story, it’s more about engaging participants in co-creation and storytelling. Thanks to the guys at Geeks Unleashed – you rock!
