Tick Tock IPA #2

Tick Tock IPA #2

We are proud to announce the launch of our new book, Clockwork Watch: Tick Tock IPA #2.

The first 40 copies come with a free limited/numbered edition copy of The London Gazette, our fictional newspaper that was central to the immersive experience theatrical, staged at the National Maritime Museum in Greenwich, last week.

The book, a continuation of Tick Tock story, follows Ervin the sentient Clockwork on his journey of discovery.

Ervin Worried

Ervin Worried

“A Clockwork automaton falls into a brewery’s fermentation tank, and gains sentience. Exactly the opposite of what would happen to a human being. He finds himself in a world sick to the core, searching for a miracle. Could he be the answer? Is he ready for such responsibility? And why isn’t anyone asking him what he wants?”

Sketch From Claire Hummel

We met up with artist extraordinaire Claire Hummel at San Diego Comic Con, where we had a chat about Steampunk, hair, multiculturalism, and more. She gave us this amazing sketch! Somehow she’s seems to have tapped into Yomi’s fascination with Harlequin… Thanks to Jaymee Goh for the introduction.

Shhhhh… Please Don’t Share

Clockwork Watch started out in Asia, and we’re honoured to have a band that represents many of the inspirations that started this story, so we’re keeping this one pretty close to home, and it will not be announced as such… So, shhhhhhhhh….

Sunday Driver will be doing a special one-off live performance at Clockwork Underworld on May 3rd.

Sunday Driver blend together Indian and British influences from past and present with the help of a pumpkin, a melon and the skin of a goat.

Formed in Cambridge in 2000, Sunday Driver have grown from a small acoustic act to a riotous 7-piece band, playing headline gigs in the UK and abroad, creating ground-breaking music that blends contemporary sounds with Eastern influences and instrumentation.

The Name Game! Win A Free Copy of Breakaway

One of the rewards of creating a project like Clockwork Watch is being able to sketch our patrons into our story. Our objective is to inspire them to participate in the make believe we’re creating.

Our online world is a sandpit where you can interact with the narrative, contribute to an alternate history, and propose creative adjustments to the Clockwork Watch story universe.

A free copy of Breakaway to the first person to name this V(I)P. 😉

More Patrons Feature As Characters In Our Story…

During our crowdfunding campaign, we offered patrons a chance to become part of this 5-year story, by sketching them into the narrative. We hoped many would use their appearance to kick off their own stories, worlds, and much more… And some have!

This week, we’ll give you a couple of snippets from Breakaway, our next graphic novel. This time we’re placing our patrons in roles, as particular characters, and pivotal parts of the story. Clockwork Watch is all about storytelling, what better way to start?
